Overview
The National Account Executive serves as the primary sales liaison between ecofi and its strategic partners. This role is the driving force behind our revenue growth, managing dual missions:
- Account Growth: Successfully nurturing and growing existing accounts
- Business Development:. Proactively converting inbound leads, and creating new opportunities through referrals, industry conferences, reviving dormant accounts, and strategic outreach
As the face of ecofi to our partners, you will be a passionate ambassador for our conservation mission and sustainability values. This position is responsible for positioning ecofi's solutions to meet business growth and profitability goals, while providing valuable marketplace intelligence on competitive positioning, pricing strategies, and partner needs.
The ability to cultivate deep, trust-based relationships with decision-makers is paramount to success in this role. We're seeking a consultative sales professional who can understand partner challenges, align our solutions to their needs, and drive mutual growth. As a revenue catalyst, you'll generate leads, identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts, and secure new business through both relationship development and competitive RFP processes.
This is a remote first position that reports directly to our sales leader, with preference given to candidates near our Miami office. The posted salary range includes potential expected commissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and revenue growth through both inbound opportunity conversion and proactive business development
- Develop and nurture high-value relationships with key stakeholders across partner organizations
- Serve as a trusted advisor, helping partners identify sustainability opportunities that deliver ROI
- Create and execute strategic account plans to expand service adoption within existing partnerships
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry events
- Articulate ecofi's unique value proposition and ROI story to prospects and partners
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional partner satisfaction
- Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to inform product and pricing strategies
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and relationship handoff
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets and business development KPIs
- Represent ecofi at industry conferences and sustainability events
- Other duties as necessary
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven success in B2B sales, preferably with relationships with real estate owners and operators
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue targets and developing long-term business relationships
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate technical sustainability concepts into business value
- Demonstrates flexibility and commitment to closing sales, including willingness to travel and conduct on-site visits as needed to secure business opportunities
- Experience in solution-based selling with an emphasis on ROI and business outcomes
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and prioritization abilities
- Superior communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Google Workspace applications
- Knowledge of sustainability practices or general construction concepts (preferred)
- Genuine passion for sustainability and alignment with ecofi's mission and values
